Reports to: Vice President, Human Resources
Qualifications: College degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline preferred Min. 1-2 years of work experience in a professional office setting Must be able to multi-task; excellent attention to detail; strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle and maintain sensitive confidential information is a must Excellent interpersonal skills required Must have a friendly, internal customer-oriented while maintaining professional demeanor Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills with excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Some basic knowledge of human resources/recruiting discipline is a plus
Position Description
Will provide a wide-range of personnel and administrative support in such areas of recruiting and placement; benefits; and personnel services. Specific duties include, but not limited to: assisting with the overall recruitment/hiring process, including creating recruiting paperwork (requisition forms and position description); maintaining job postings and applicant flow log; updating the company Career website and HR tracking system; sorting through resumes and screening of candidates; processing of employment application; responding to verbal and written requests for information; scheduling interviews with job applicants and interviewing managers; coordinating and/or performing reference checks for employee candidates; employment verification, preparing offer letters, and processing new hires, coordinating new hire orientations and terminations; and filing Preparing and maintaining confidential reports and records Preparing correspondence; producing, editing, and formatting documents Tracking organizational headcount and updating organizational charts Asisting the Payroll/Benefits Coordinator with the overall employee beneifits administration; assembling benefit package and ensuring that all benefits information, including enrollments and changes, are properly documented and routed in a timely manner Collecting timesheets and updating PTO record May assist with payroll Answering main phone, route callers Receiving, sorting, and distributing the office mail Assisting/coordinating with other administrative staff with company events May provide support to other personnel, as needed, in the absence of other administrative support Back-up support to the Human Resources departments, as needed and assigned
